Nostepinde er et traditionelt norsk håndværktøj til at vikle uld i hånden (f.eks. fra et fed) til et nøgle.
Nostepinne er lavet af særligt robust gummitræ og ved ca. 28 cm, har den perfekte længde til at holde stort set alle garnnøgler.
I modsætning til den normale håndoprulning er nøglet ikke viklet for stramt, og der dannes en kugle med et centralt hul, hvorved tråden kan fjernes fra indersiden af nøglet. Ideel at bruge i kombination med en garnkarusel.

The Nostepinne is a traditional Norwegian hand tool to wind wool by hand (e.g. from a skein) to a ball.
The Nostepinne is made of particularly sturdy rubber wood and, at approx. 28 cm, has the perfect length to hold virtually any ball of yarn.
In contrast to the normal hand winding, the ball is not wound too tightly and a ball with a central hole is formed, whereby the thread can be removed from the inside of the ball. Ideal to use in combination with the yarn butler.
